Grind
Lucy barfed up some cigar-shaped goop in front of the bedroom closet today and I got blamed for it. This is not the first time I've been blamed for her mess. The inability to speak and explain facts is definitely a drawback to life in Dogdom (see FAQ).
Pictured: Mom and Master during a recent cycling vacation in Beantown. This particular picture was taken somewhere near Ipswich, Mass. While there they took in the debut bar performance of their friends' band,
Misplaced Priorities (~41.7 MB, broadband recommended). They opened for
The Geezers at the
Sit 'n Bull Pub in cheesy downtown Maynard, Mass. That's Master's good friend
Mr. Jim on drums, and John on vocals, seen doing their rendition of
Hush by Deep Purple. The Stratocaster player looks a lot like Bill Gates. The goofy couple is none other than Master 'n Mom. If you listen closely you can hear them sing along on the chorus line. Don't they look way overdressed for the dowdyish Sit 'n Bull?
For Master it's back to the research this week. And classes started to boot - Medical Physiology, Fundamentals of Therapuetic Agents, and Molecular Pharmacology. Oh boy, and all in one semester. After that, though, the course work is complete. In April 2007 he'll sit for his Prelim I exam, and if he passes that, it's all research until the finish. Might sneak in an elective or two, if it doesn't detract from the end goal. Mom continues to amaze at work, no surprises there.
We're fine and doing well, hope ya'll are, too.
Though I have to say, I can't predict my behavior next time Lucy tosses chow and I get blamed for it.
