Tuesday, April 11, 2006 Change In Perspective    According to Master, there are so many seminars every week at .edu that one could spend their entire academic life attending them. There was a scare at one today. The presenter was explaining his hypothesis for how Resveratrol acts to induce apoptosis (cell death) in certain cancer cell lines, when all of a sudden he sat down and apologized for suddenly not feeling well. A couple seconds later he slumped over in his chair. He appeared to have suffered a seizure. Several in the audience rushed to his aid, and the seminar abruptly ended. Within minutes several doctors from the hospital adjacent to the school of medicine arrived to help. Someone said they saw him about fifteen minutes later up and around and walking outside.
