AOCNP
We need some rain. Don't get me wrong, the bluesky, sun, and warm temps the past few days have all been delightful, but everything rooted in the yard is dry, and we daren't water because it's expensive! We discovered this last summer after numerous liberal sprinklings, only to be shocked when the first water bill arrived. It was around two hundred dollars. To boot, the sewer bill went up proportionally because the utility assumes you're exercising their pipe that much more. Well that was the end of that. It then dawned on us why nobody in the neighborhood ran a sprinkler. And the look of surprise on our drop-jawed neighbors, staring at us as we pulled out of the driveway with the sprinkler soaking the front lawn -- "They must be very well to do."
Please congratulate N. This weekend she passed the certification exam to become an AOCNP. That would be Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, the first in her office to become so certified. More money please. Better yet, give her a raise and reduce her hours to four days a week and we'll call it a wash. To celebrate, her and Master visited the Tremont district to be seen. The Benz got a thorough spring cleaning especially for the event, and I must say for ~ 210K miles she's looking almost as good as the lady on her hood.
