He's compiling a halloween music disk and solicited suggestions for which songs to include. Careful! - the download is a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, PCM, lossless compression .WAV file weighing in at over 100 MB. Nothing but the best in Zappa's memory. Grok this: Zoot Allures was first realeased in 1976. 30 years ago?!?!??! That's like thirteen years older than that rim up there, which by the way failed suddenly on Master's commute home earlier this week. Old songs and old rims remind you of days when they were new. And now here we all are in the present, in Cleveland, Ohio, learning the mechanism of action of Cyclosporin in acute renal failure and asking ourselves, "Well, how did I get here?" This experience too will age. Someday far into the future something will turn up and remind us of Cleveland, and we'll stop and think, "Yeah, that was something wasn't it."
